A teacher plays a lot. Apart from teaching, discuss the three main roles of a teacher.

Teacher is like a candle, lighting the others and burn himself, that's the expression tipped from the past to the present. Teachers increasingly challenging task of the day today. The teacher's role is also on the increase, not only as teaching subjects in school, but more than that.

Besides teaching is undoubtedly a burden almost all teachers is a teacher discipline indirectly. This thing had gone through the process of teachers for teaching and learning. Discipline problems among student make teachers had to take disciplinary action against them. Similarly, while all students are in school, of course, there are discipline problems such as smoking, punching, obscene behavior, bullying against  teachers or the other students, and so on. This leads to teacher must be a teacher discipline and take appropriate action against the students and make a report to the school and parents. Sometimes teachers have to face with the parents red. Some cases had to refer it to the police or other superiors.

Besides, teacher is  also a co-curricular teacher. Curriculum be one sign of success of a school makes teachers had to engage in co-curricular. When there are school programs, all teachers have to be involved with the program, especially in co-curricular. Teacher starts from a coach, making the school field, a teacher escort, referee and to ensure that trained students got success. Teachers involved also need to ensure that the students who brought security guaranteed from the beginning to the end of the event. In all programs such as motivation, tour programs, camping programs, teachers also have to follow the planned program to ensure there is no problem appears. Many of these programs are made during the school holidays where others are happily at home with their families.

In the other ways,  teacher plays as a personal counseling or academic counseling. Pupis pour many personal problems to the teacher to hear, especially that involving both parents or friends. In serious problems such as abuse, sex, theft, drugs and flogging, teachers have  to settle for diplomacy so students do not confuse or bring to the authorities. If it involves the authorities, teachers had to tell the administrators and also the department. Parents also have to be informed of matters relating to discipline or morals of children. Parents often do not accept the reality of their child guilty or involved with things that are not good. This would also once again faced by teachers to explain exactly what has happened to their child and disciplinary action taken against their children. Parents who only know how to blame the schools if something happened to their children also have to face with prudence. Teachers have to explain to parents hoped they could accept the reality.

For pupils with learning impairment and teachers were forced to give the pupils the proper motivation to keep up their self confidence. Academic motivation should also be given to students who are average and excellent so that they are brilliant and indirectly bring the school to success.

With regard to the above, it is clear that the teacher plays many roles other than teaching in the classroom. Actually there are many other tasks that teachers have to be made for smooth teaching in school or involve in other activities.
